Jinshanling Great Wall, the remote and isolated section of the Great Wall. is one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall which may shows its charms to the hiking fans at all times. With a distance about 140 kilometers (87 miles) northeast of Beijing city, Jinshanling Section connects to the Simatai Section of the wall in the east and Gubeikou section in the west. It is the most representative part of the Chinese brick-made dragon.Very few tourists make the longer trek out so you are most likely guaranteed a relatively peaceful walk.

Pick up at Dongzhimen Stop Exit C (subway line 2) at 8am. Pick up and drop off at the same place. About 2 hours drive to the Jingshanling by highway, then hike from the east side of Jinshanling section to the west side of Jinshanling Great Wall . The hike is about 5-6 KM and takes about 3 hours
You will be rewarded with stunning panoramas and be able to see the Great Wall stretching out to the horizon. This section of the Great Wall is known for being built atop sharp ridges, and hikers will have a great chance to understand the impressive feat of engineering the Great Wall represents with each section we ascend and descend. As the trail from Jinshanling to Simatai is blocked, the original hike from Jinshanling to Simatai can be done half way–Jinshanling East. Untouched wild great wall.
